Wild Blue Lager

posted on August 19, 2009 in Beer

Last night one of my buddies stopped by with a few of one of the strangest tasting beers I’ve ever had. I’m sure we’ve all had some sort of fruit enhanced beer, but the Wild Blue Lager he brought over was something else. After taking my first swig it was clear to me that blueberries and hops don’t mix, then again I’m more of a bitter beer fan, so that might have made it worse for me. The one positive about the beer is that it has a hefty 8% alcohol content, although that’s just the devil on my shoulder.

Anyway, I think that if your the type of person that likes to try “different” types of beers then I would give it a shot. Also, I imagine women might be more prone to like it. Not trying to stereotype, but how many women do you know that drink Guinness?
